Cilla Jane is no stranger to the live music scene. She released an EP and two albums while based in Melbourne. During that time, she toured as a support artist with Kate Miller Heidke, The Audreys, Matt Corby and Tim Freedman as well as touring internationally. Cilla Jane’s music echoes Pj Harvey, Cat Power, Johnny Cash and Nick Cave. Also a recipient of the John Butler Seed Grants program, Cilla Jane draws from the years of experience spent immersed in the murky depths of the music industry. Cilla Jane is now based South of Sydney.

Cilla Jane has now formed a new duo called ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’. www.arsenicandoldlacemusic.com

‘With big shoes to fill following her well reviewed debut album ‘When the night falls’, the Melbournian singer songwriter has surpassed even her own heights with this second release. Ms Jane has opened up her heart and mind to write this record, though still leaves that shroud of mystery around her work. The evocative cello pieces throughout ‘Until Morning Comes’ send tingles down the spine, the perfect match for Jane’s velvety voice. While built upon the folk model, Jane goes against the grain, creating her own unique niche. Until Morning Comes will have you soaking in its beauty, leaving the world behind.’ – CHRISTINE CARUANA – DRUM MEDIA
